Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorders (CHADD):
Saginaw County Area Satellite
A Support group for parents/caregivers of children and teens who have AD/HD. Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church located at 4619 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw, MI. For more information, contact Megan at (989)607-9319.

ARC of Bay County:
The ARC sponsors a monthly support group for family, parents, friends, and advocates of the mentally disabled. Meetings are held at the ARC office, 708 Columbus Ave., Bay City. Call (989)893-1346 for more information.
Parenting with Love and Logic:
A seven- week parenting series offered by MPA Group Ltd. throughout the year. This educational course offers fun and easy to use parenting techniques to use with children of all ages. The group is free for those with Medicaid. Scholarships are available. Contact Michelle Richards or Michelle Hugo at (989)667-9661.
Family Enrichment Classes:
The YWCA of Bay County offers an eight-week parenting series throughout the year. Classes meet in the evenings and include dinner. Assistance with childcare and transportation is provided. There is no charge for the group. For more information or to register, contact (989)686-4800.
Building Strong Families:
A 15-week parenting education series offered to parents who have young children age birth to three years. A trained parenting staff person from the MSU Extension visits 1:1 with the family in their home to discuss parenting, child development, child safety, nutrition, reading to your child, connecting with community resources, handling difficult behavior, etc. To request services call the MSU Extension office at (989)895-4026.
Precious Reflections Support Group:
This support group is sponsored by Bay Regional Medical Center and is open to parents who have experienced a pregnancy or newborn loss. Held one evening per month. The group is free and no registration is required. Call (989)894-3034 for information and location.
Parent-Child Play Groups:
The Starting Strong Program offers Parent-Child Play Groups on a regular basis in both Bay and Arenac counties. These fun and interactive groups are for parents who have young children age birth to five. Contact the program at (989)667-3263 for more information or for the schedule.
Mood Changes After Birth: Coping with Difficult Emotions After Birth:
A support group for women experiencing postpartum depression and other difficult emotions after birth. Trained nurses are available to offer support, guidance, information, and access to community resources. Spouses and/or other caregivers may also attend. One on one support is also available. The group meets monthly in Bay City. Adoption, Foster Care and Kinship Care Support:
Lutheran Adoption Services offers support, help accessing resources, crisis intervention, advocacy, case management services, training opportunities and a support group for adoptive, foster and kinship families. MOPS – Mothers of Preschoolers:
A group for mothers of preschoolers (MOPS) meets monthly at the First United Methodist Church, 300 N. Wenona Avenue. This non-denominational group gives mothers with children from birth to age 5 a chance to meet with each other to network, socialize, share ideas, do crafts, etc. Childcare is provided.
