Clinical Specialist - Intake & Emergent Services
Completes the initial clinical assessment for children and/or adults who are referred to the Arenac Center for outpatient or case management services. Completes initial paperwork, diagnostic evaluation, and person centered plan as appropriate. Provides crisis intervention and outreach services. Position is located in Standish.
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work with current Michigan licensure required, along with two years of post-graduate experience in behavioral health. Must be able to demonstrate competence in assessment, crisis intervention, knowledge of emotional disorders, mental illness and developmental disabilities specific to children and adults. Must have availability of reliable transportation for outreach work.
Pay Range
Starting range of $44,200 - $48,600 plus exceptional fringes.

Geriatric Mental Health Specialist
Provides mental health services to elderly residents of Bay and Arenac Counties in need of outreach services who reside in a nursing facility or private residence. Provides clinical services to adults that have mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. May provide individual, group and family therapy sessions. Provides diagnostic evaluations, community consultation, and education services as appropriate. Functions as a part of a person-centered planning process to assist in the provision of services.
Qualifications
Current Michigan license as LMSW required, with two-years of experience working with the target population or coursework in aging, geriatrics or geriatric mental health is required. Knowledge of mental illness, assessment & treatment techniques related to the aging process is required. Must have reliable transportation for outreach work, a valid unrestricted Michigan driver's license, and basic computer skills.
Pay Range
Starting range of $44,200 - $48,600 plus exceptional fringes.

Direct Care
Substitute (on-call) Residential Technician positions available. Provides support to people who experience a developmental disability. Supports people in maintaining and developing relationships in their community and at their home. May provide personal and physical support.
Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with people who have a development disability along with group home training, CPR and First Aid is required. Possession of a valid State of Michigan driver's license required. Must have the physical ability to carry out the typical job duties. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Wage
$9.81 per hour.
